On December 15, 1942, in Washington DC, USA, passed away the great Faik Konica, a central figure of our national movement, researcher of Albanian history and language, publisher, publicist, leader of VATRA (The Hearth), Albanian intellectual who graduated from Harvard. Plenipotentiary Minister of Albania in the United States of America from 1926 until 1939.
