The magazine “ALBANIA” was run by Faik Konica who was also the editor-in-chief with the pseudonym Trhank Spirobeg.

The magazine became a tribune of thoughts of the progressive Albanian patriots outside Albania such as Filip Shiroka, Luigj Gurakuqi, Andon Zako Çajupi, Hilë Mosi, Fan Noli, etc. This bilingual (Albanian & French language) magazine was published twice a month in Brussels until 1901 and once a month in London from 1902 onwards.

Its first issue was published in 1896, and the last one in 1909. It dealt with Albanian problems in the fields of history, linguistics, literature, folklore, etc.
