Scientists sound the alarm: A black hole is “devouring” a star similar to the sun

Black holes are celestial objects known for their “gluttony” as they tend to “swallow” with their great gravitational pull the stars that have the misfortune to be near them. However, some are shown to be more restrained as they do not “devour” every star, but instead select their celestial “victims”.
